Sara Hall Racing USATF 10 Mile Championships One Week After Finishing Fifth at Berlin Marathon

Sara Hall is a late addition to the lineup Sunday for the USATF 10 Mile Championships, hosted by the TC 10 Mile in Twin Cities, Minn. She is the two-time defending champion.

Hall set a personal best 2:22:16, finishing fifth Sept. 29 at the Berlin Marathon. Her race at the USATF 10 Mile Championships comes one week later. Prior to the Berlin Marathon, she owned a marathon personal best of 2:26:20.

Running races with short rest is not new for Hall. She was a runner-up finisher at the USATF Half Marathon and 25 km Championships in successive weeks in May. That string of races came three weeks after she finished 15th at the Boston Marathon.

Hall is already in the middle of an ambitious marathon double. She is set to race Nov. 3 at the New York City Marathon.
